Resource Mobilization
DPEC wrote letters to business houses in the district in a bid
to raise some operations funds. They have, however, begun the
process of writing a proposal to be submitted to CRAIDS and
other partners.
Equipment
The equipment in the Referral Centre is in a normal working
condition though DPEC has run out of toner.

Rentals and Volunteer Allowances
The allowances and rentals are still owed from January, 2005.
The services of one volunteer were terminated over disciplinary
matters. The allowances for this volunteer were still
outstanding. DPEC is committed to pay once funds are available.
Activities
DPEC participates in the VCT Mobilization Committee Meetings
which are held monthly. In these meetings they report activities
on VCT. They had one Open Forum on Community Care for PLWHA;
they host and attend a number of partners’ meetings in the
district.
Recently they held an advocacy and Media workshop where 13 FBO
leaders were trained.
They trained 39 Youths in Sports Administration and coaching.
