ADMINISTRATIVE ISSUES
Resource Mobilization
DPEC
in this district has begun the process of writing a proposal to
CRAIDS. The process involved meetings with FBO Leaders to receive
their submissions so that the final one is all inclusive.
Advocacy
There have been no advocacy activities since Policy Funds finished
at end of 2004, which has lead to a low turn out on the number of
referrals made. Most Clients, however, are those seeking food
rations which most Service Providers in the district do not have.
DPEC Meetings
The
schedule of DPEC meetings is twice a month, however, this does not
happen because of competing commitments on the part of some members
and the low morale due to lack of funds for the operations of the
Referral Centre.
Volunteer Allowance
The
amounts for rentals and allowances are outstanding from the month of
January 2005. There are four full time volunteers.
Equipment
The
state of the equipment in this district was reported to be faulty.
The printer cartridge holder was reported to have some cracks. This
finding was made by some technician. However, the exact extent of
this damage could not be determined at this visit.
