Resource Mobilization

DPEC put up an application to SHARE which was successful. At the time of the visit they had already received 13 million out of 22 million approved. This was received in March 2005.

Activities

Following a successful proposal SHARE organized a workshop where they trained FBO leaders and Volunteers in Monitoring and Evaluation.

Another workshop was organized in psycho-social counseling (PSS) and Volunteers trained as Trainer of Trainers (ToTs). After this workshop a number of activities were reported to have taken place; a report on these activities is not yet available.

Volunteer Allowances

This has not been paid and because of this the morale of Volunteers went down. It was reported that DPEC put Volunteers on a rotational bases to allow them find other means of economic survival. There are still four Volunteers in the Referral Centre. The money from SHARE does not allow payment of volunteer allowances.
